Intercultural skills: Collaboration & Management

Weiterbildungskurs (26.-27. September 2019)

This course provides participants with a thorough understanding of the challenges and success factors in working across cultural differences, and equipping them with practical skills in management and collaboration in an international environment.

Together with experts from the private sector and the field of development cooperation, participants will look at the individual, organizational/institutional and leadership responsibilities that are needed for successful interaction. They will have the opportunity to reflect on their own intercultural and transcultural learning process and develop approaches to successfully run projects with intercultural partnerships and teams. The course will also introduce “bridging tools” for conflict prevention, negotiation and mediation.

Prior completion of the course Intercultural Skills: Communication is recommended but not a precondition for admission.
